Carlsen Solis Battles Through ARRC Round 2 at Chang International Circuit with SDG HARC-PRO Honda Philippines Inc. Racing Team

Chang International Circuit, Thailand – May 9-10, 2026: The 2026 Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) resumed with Round 2 at the world-class Chang International Circuit, where top riders from across Asia gathered for another intense weekend of racing competition.

Representing SDG HARC-PRO Honda Philippines Inc. Racing Team in the highly competitive AP250 category, #25 Carlsen Solis continued his international racing campaign with determination and valuable race experience against some of the region’s strongest young talents.

The weekend began with qualifying sessions under challenging track conditions, where Carlsen worked closely with the team to maximize performance and improve consistency throughout the sessions. He recorded his fastest lap time of 1:55.390, securing 27th position on the starting grid for the weekend’s races.

Despite the demanding pace of the AP250 field, Carlsen showed composure and determination during Race 1. Battling through the tightly contested pack, he maintained a steady rhythm throughout the race and successfully crossed the finish line in 23rd place. He also improved his pace further by setting a faster race lap time of 1:55.337, highlighting the continuous progress made throughout the weekend.

Heading into Race 2, Carlsen remained determined to further improve his performance and gained more valuable race mileage. However, after another hard-fought battle on track, his race unfortunately ended in a DNF result, while his determination is still intact the outcome was not what the team had hoped for. the weekend still provided important lessons and experience that will contribute to his ongoing development as a rider competing at the Asian level.

Throughout the weekend, Carlsen displayed perseverance, discipline, and a strong fighting spirit — qualities that continue to define his growth as one of the Philippines’ promising young motorcycle racers. Together with SDG HARC-PRO, the focus now shifts toward the upcoming rounds of the championship as the team aims to return stronger and continue progressing throughout the 2026 season.
