Honda ❤️ YOU : Tree Planting in Cebu City

Cebu City, November 29, 2024 – For the first time, Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) conducted a tree planting activity in the Queen of the South at Barangay Taptap, within the Cebu City Resource Management and Development Center (CREMDEC). This site is part of the Central Cebu Protected Landscape (CCPL), a designated protected area focused on reforestation, watershed protection, and combating erosion, which are essential for the larger ecological health of Cebu City.

Under the banner Honda ❤️ YOU campaign, HPI demonstrated its commitment to environmental preservation and restoration, as well as its dedication to promoting the health and welfare of the community.

Thanks to the combined efforts of 16 Honda Associates, volunteers from the Cebu City Environmental and Natural Resources Office (CCENRO), and the CREMDEC community, a total of 100 Rambutan seedlings were successfully planted. HPI stands with the community in fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and responsibility for present and future generations.
