Honda Riders Celebrate ONE DREAM in the Riders Convention 2018 – Mindanao Leg

Davao City, August 4, 2018 – Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI,) the number one motorcycle manufacturer in the Philippines, holds the Honda Riders Convention 2018 –Mindanao Leg at the Davao Convention and Trade Center where Honda riders and enthusiasts gathered for a day of fun-filled activities that celebrate camaraderie and support to HPI. This is one of the many activities Honda will hold under the ONE DREAM campaign, which imparts the accomplishment of the Filipino’s dreams through HPI’s products.

During the event, HPI emphasized how the riders are important to their success, which always inspired them to create the best products and latest innovations that suit the riders’ lifestyle.  With this, one of the highlights of the event is the launching of Honda’s latest models.

First, HPI featured its Automatic (AT) models, starting with The Honda BeAT. It comes with its stylish new stripes in nine exciting colors designed for the young and fashionable Filipino taste. Equipped with a powerful performance but fuel efficient engine, it has fuel consumption of 63km/L, helping you save around Php700 on gasoline expenses. HPI also boasts of the PCX150, which exudes class and style while delivering a premium performance and having an economic fuel consumption of 51.3km/L.

Honda also featured a new color variant from the high, on-road sports segment – The CBR150R in Mat Gunpowder Black, which now features a new, aggressive and speedy stripes design. It has a fuel consumption of 42.8km/L. Since it is meant for high speeds, it was built with a Bank Angle Sensor, a safety feature which automatically turns the engine off when the motorcycle is leaning at an extreme angle. For the off-road sports segment, The All-New CRF150L was showcased, which embodies the striking and aggressive image of the CRF250R, which makes riders more daring in undertaking off-road pursuits while saving up on gas consumption with the model’s fuel consumption of 54.8km/L.

Finally, Honda unveiled the new stripe design of the RS125, a model from the mid sports cub segment which now shares the sporty image of the RS150R. It is equipped with a 4 stroke, Air-cooled, PGM-Fi engine, which is fuel efficient at 61 km/L.

Riders also had the opportunity to participate in various activities geared towards their interests as motorcycle enthusiasts, such as the test ride activity, the Riders Skills Challenge and Motor Show.  To add excitement, HPI honored the riders’ special skills and talents through the “Riders Got Talent” competition and the “Miss Honda Riders Con 2018” segment.  To cap off the day, various clubs were recognized for their various achievements as with the awarding ceremony. Finally, they were serenaded by Nairud Sa Wabad and Daybreak, local musical talents from Davao.
