The following TERMS and CONDITIONS apply to all and any person (“the learner”) who applies to the HONDA SAFETY DRIVING CENTER (hereinafter called the “Center”) for any lessons or courses selected from the Center’s registration form.

Words stated in the singular shall include the plural and vice-versa, and words stated in the masculine gender shall include the feminine

  • Agreement refers to and is constituted by both the completed and signed registration form of the Center as well as this Terms & Conditions. The Agreement will endure until learner has completed the program.
  • “Learner” means the person registering and desiring to undergo training and instruction course or any course as selected in the Center’s registration form, and agrees to these Terms & Conditions and is accepted by the Center.
  • “Extension” means that the tenure of this Agreement will continue for a longer period than what is specified in the registration form, and in which event an extension fee is payable in accordance to item III.4
  • “Booking of transaction” means reserving a slot by the learner in any of the 100-minute session specified and offered by the Center.
  • “Student Number” is a unique number assigned to a particular learner even after the agreement has expired. This number will be frequently used as reference in booking or payment transactions.
  • “Night Session “ means beyond office HSDC office hours that starts at 5.30pm.
  • “Change of Transmission Fee” means from MANUAL Transmission to AUTOMATIC in Automobile; Manual to Semi-Automatic or Fully Automatic.
  • The Center will issue the Learner a Training Passport. This passport documents the progress of the learner throughout his schooling with the Center. Hence, it is a “must” that the learner brings this whenever he attends classes.
  • The Center will only recognize notations and comments made by the Center’s instructor(s) on the Passport.
  • At no time and under no circumstances shall the Passport be transferred to another Learner or any person if not yet started.
  • The learner shall notify the Center immediately in writing (e-mail), thru phone or in person if the passport is lost, misplaced or stolen. An administrative fee will be charged for the replacement of the Training Passport.
  • The learner has the option to pay the enrolment fee either in full or installment. For installment basis, learner must pay 50% of the enrolment fee as down payment and the remaining balance shall be settled within the first day of his/her scheduled classes
  • The Center accepts payment in cash or thru bank transfers/deposit/GCASH.
  • Official receipts will be issued for all payment transactions. In case of offline system PR will be provided.
  • Amount paid upon registration covers training services for the specified duration of course, training passport, handbooks (except intermediate) and Certificate of Completion. Extensions are subject to additional charges depending on the prescribed duration of the Center with Learners’ pace and competence as basis.
  • All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Learners are required to book their appointment thru Honda Safety driving Center Philippines FB Page.
  • Learners will receive a confirmation regarding their appointment date thru FB.
  • Learners may re-schedule previous booking if this is to be made at least two (2) days before the preferred schedule.
  • In cases of cancellation within the two (2) days grace period or a no-show, the Learner will not demand any refunds or free extensions under any circumstances whatsoever.
  • Booking, re-booking and cancellations may be done via telephone, Center’s website or e-mail. The Center’s date of receipt and acknowledgment will be deemed as the reckoning date.
  • Late re-booking or late cancellations & no-shows will be subject to administrative charges that is equivalent to twenty percent (20%) of the course fee on a per stage basis:
    • - 4W & 2W Learners: Penalty for late comers (maximum of 10mins) will be based on issued memo.
  • The Center may re-schedule in conformity with the learner’s availability in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
  • The Learner agrees not to hold the Center, its agents and staff liable for any loss or damage and from all claims and expense resulting from disqualification or prohibition from applying for a drivers license, failing the test, and for any inaccuracy, delay, error or omission in connection with the foregoing.
  • No learner will be allowed to undergo public road driving without presenting first his students permit/ driver’s license with OR to the attending instructor – each time and every time.
  • The Learner must secure medical certificate upon entry & must fill up company health declaration form.
  • The Learner is not allowed to enter the training circuit except for training or assessment purposes only.
  • Children not enrolled are barred from the training circuit and classrooms at all times. They will only be permitted in customer service areas like the lobby and cafeteria. Children below 12 years old will be allowed – provided they are under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • Pets are not allowed anywhere in the Center.
  • The Center is a NO SMOKING facility. However, there are designated areas where smoking will be permitted.
  • This Agreement will be terminated and the learner expelled immediately from the Center if found vandalizing, or committing an offense, or have behaved inappropriately so as to endanger lives and cause threats to properties.
  • The Learner shall not attend any lesson or training while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and shall not be permitted to consume the same during any lesson or training session, and any such default fees will not be refunded.
  • The Center is authorized to refuse or discontinue a lesson or training session if it is of the view that the Learner is physically-unfit or is suffering from any infectious and/or communicable disease/s, which may endanger the safety, health, or lives of the Learner, other Learners, the instructor, the Center’s employees or any member of the general public.
  • All communication and electronic devices must be switched-off or tuned in silent mode while lessons or training sessions are ongoing.
  • Learner must be in proper and decent attire when attending classroom and practical sessions. For safety reasons, high-heeled shoes and sandals are not allowed during practical training. For motorcycle students: long-sleeved shirt, long pants and closed shoes or boots are required.
  • Learner must attain the minimum requirement of each subject or stage as decided by the instructor before proceeding to the next subject or stage.
  • It is agreed that the instructor – at its absolute discretion-may require the Learner to undergo a revision of any previous lesson, and the Learner shall bear the fee thereof.
  • The Learner is aware that he has to schedule and book his own training sessions at least five (5) calendar days before the preferred schedule to ensure availability of instructors and training vehicles.
  • The Learner agrees to abide by the maximum allowable of four (4) practical training stages / sessions in succession or 400 minutes per day.
  • A pregnant learner shall not be allowed to attend any practical training session unless she is able to produce a medical certificate. The said certificate may be issued in respect of one session or a period of time covering several sessions. The medical certificate should be approved by the Center.
  • Learner agrees that his companion (if any) will not be permitted by the Center to board the training vehicle at any given time during the practical training.
  • Giving of gifts in forms of any kind whether an items and monetary are strictly PROHIBITED.
  • For 50 yrs. old & above; for learners with medical history, medical certificate is required.
  • In case of emergency or untoward may happen to the learners HSDC will provide the first aid and bring to the hospital. Referral and other procedure may shoulder by the learners.
  • Course enrollment duration is within six (6) months
; however, if there has been more than a month gap from the last stage attended, it is compulsory for the learner to undergo assessment or review of his/her previous exercises or stage before going to original stage, it will be based on instructor assessment before allowing the learner to continue the training.
  • the Learner agrees to indemnify the Center and its employees, principals and/or agents for losses, damages and expenses which the Center may incur, suffer or sustain directly or indirectly as a result of any act, omission, fraud, accident, negligence and/or misconduct or breach of this Agreement by the Learner or the Learner’s representatives and/or agents.
  • The Learner shall ensure before and after the enrolment that he does not suffer from epilepsy, mental disorder, high blood pressure, heart problem, eye defects, or any physical disability and handicap which could or may adversely affect the driving and/or riding a motorcycle in any manner-whether in the Center or on public or private roads, and the learner shall inform the Center of any such matter before or during the training/driving session. In view of the foregoing, Learner shall indemnify the Center for any injury or disability sustained by the Learner as a consequence of any accident or incident that might occur as a result.
  • The Learner will consume the total no. of hours enrolled at HSDC.
