Honda Riders Sweep MotoIR Round 5 Super Sport 200 Categories at Tarlac Circuit Hill.
TARLAC CITY, Philippines — Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) sponsored riders asserted absolute dominance during Round 5 of the MotoIR Nationwide Championship, sweeping the top spots in the highly competitive Super Sport 200 GP, SP and Junior race categories held from September 19–20 at the technical Tarlac Circuit Hill, the event saw Honda’s elite racers with an impressive victories to shake up the nationwide leaderboard.
Abadilla Spearheads the Honda’s offensive moves in Super Sports 200 SP/GP Race
Taking the lead among the grid was #83 Kenzo Abadilla, who put on an impressive display of sills and talent. Competing alongside a stacked field of veteran and highly experienced local and international riders, Abadilla showed unmatched poise and precision on the track to anchor Honda's winning weekend using the CBR150R motorcycles.
Right there with him was #25 Carlsen Solis. Though they fought hard against a formidable field to secure their podium finishes, this young lad refused to back down, going toe-to-toe alongside Abadilla to lock out the front of the pack. The elite duo pushed their machines to the absolute limit across the challenging tarmac, showcasing masterful tactical precision and cornering speed and ended up in 2nd Place during the Final Race with 5.77 seconds behind Abadilla.
Adding serious firepower to Honda’s premium tier were the experienced riders #32 Jakob Sablaya and #28 John Nathan Galang. Sablaya, riding for the MotoFlash- Honda Racing Team, and Galang, flying the colors of the Honda NT28 Racing Team, pushed their race-prepped machines to the absolute limit across the challenging tarmac with their skills and grit proving the audience that they have what it takes to be on that racetrack.
Not to be outdone, #1 Ronald Galzote took pride in the SP Category. Leading his pack with absolute confidence, Galzote proved that he and his fellow competitors surely have what it takes to win a podium finish, solidifying Honda's multi-class supremacy over the weekend.
Solis Solid 2nd Place finish in Super Sports Bike GP Race
Demonstrating his elite endurance and versatility, Carlsen Solis pulled another race by jumping onto a heavier platform for the bigger bike division. Battling severe grid pressure from the other competitors higher displacements, Solis piloted his FCC Honda Philippines, Inc.’s machinery to a phenomenal second-place finish in the Philippine Super Sport Bike GP class racking up crucial championship points and concluding his weekend with multiple trophies.
Honda Lockout in the Super Sport Junior Race
The Super Sport Junior class proved to be a defining moment of the weekend, showcasing the determination, passion and perseverance leads to a tactical showdown among the next generation of track stars.
#83 Kenzo Abadilla completely set the benchmark, utilizing unmatched cornering precision to storm away with the first-place victory for FCC - WRD Honda Philippines Racing Team. Hot on his exhaust notes was #25 Carlsen Solis of FCC - Honda Philippines, Inc. Racing Team who put up a fierce fight to take a close second place, completing a brilliant 1-2 sweep for both riders. Rounding out the all-Honda podium lockout was SP division champion #1 Ronald Galzote, who secure a hard-fought third place flying the colors of High Rev x Honda Philippines Racing Team.
