Davao City, September 17, 2026 — Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) officially inaugurated its newly renovated Service Training Center at Davao Depot, marking another important milestone in its commitment to developing dealer personnel and enhancing customer service across the country.
The event brought together HPI management and associates to celebrate the opening of the facility, which will serve as a dedicated training hub for Honda dealers in Mindanao. The new center was established to provide greater access to technical and service training programs, helping dealer personnel continuously improve their skills and adapt to the changing needs of customers.
Built to replicate actual dealership operations, the Davao Service Training Center offers a hands-on learning environment where technicians and service staff can strengthen both their technical capabilities and customer service best practices. Through more practical and immersive training activities, participants can gain valuable experience that can be directly applied in their daily dealership operations.
In his keynote address, HPI Vice President/ Operating Head – Sales & CR/SCM, Mr. Jomel Jerezo emphasized the importance of investing in people as part of Honda's long-term commitment to service excellence. He shared that the inauguration of the Davao facility builds on the success of the Luzon Service Training Center and reflects HPI's continued effort to bring quality training opportunities closer to dealers throughout the country.
Mr. Jerezo highlighted that while the facility has been established to support dealer personnel, its greatest impact will be felt by Honda customers. By continuously improving the knowledge and skills of frontline teams, Honda aims to provide a more consistent, reliable, and satisfying service experience at every dealership touchpoint.
The inauguration also represents another step in HPI's nationwide training facility development program. Following the successful openings of the Batangas and Davao training centers, the company continues to strengthen its learning infrastructure to ensure that dealer personnel across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao have access to modern and effective training environments.
Beyond facility investments, HPI remains committed to advancing its training initiatives through updated technical programs, service excellence courses, and partnerships with educational institutions that help prepare future industry professionals for real-world careers.
As HPI continues to grow its dealer network and strengthen its after-sales operations, the Davao Service Training Center stands as a testament to the company's belief that exceptional customer experiences begin with well-trained and highly capable people. Through continuous learning and development, HPI reaffirms its commitment to delivering the quality and service that Honda customers have come to expect nationwide.
