Honda Philippines Inc. Marks 10-Millionth Production of Motorcycle Unit

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country, enters another defining chapter as it celebrates the production of its 10-millionth motorcycle unit in a ceremony held at its manufacturing facility in Batangas with the theme “Commemoration of 10 Million Production, Igniting the Passion to Lead the Future Beyond the Limits.”

The achievement marks a significant milestone in HPI’s manufacturing history and highlights the company’s continued efforts to provide high quality, reliable and environment friendly motorcycles that bring the joy of mobility and riding comfort to Filipino customers.

From production line to the road

The 10-millionth unit represents the manufacturing capability and collective effort of the people behind Honda’s range of motorcycle products, the Dealers, Suppliers, Stakeholders, and HPI associates who have helped bring Honda motorcycles closer to riders across the country.

Filipino customers have also played an important role in reaching this milestone. Their continued trust in Honda has made the brand part of their daily commutes, personal trips, and countless journeys, with millions of Honda motorcycles becoming part of their everyday lives.

The achievement further highlights the Click125 Smart Edition Pearl Arctic White and marks it as the 10-millionth motorcycle unit. The Click125 model has established itself as a trusted choice among Filipino riders for their day-to-day journeys. Alongside other Honda models, it has made a significant contribution to HPI’s production for both local and export markets.

Celebrating the 10-Millionth Unit

During the event, Mr. Takeshi Kobayashi, President of Honda Philippines, Inc., shared his message on reaching 10 million units and recognized the people and partners whose dedication helped achieve this historic milestone.

“This milestone of 10 million units was not achieved by Honda Philippines alone. It was made possible by our customers who have trusted Honda, our dealers who deliver our products and services to customers every day, our suppliers and partners who support our business and production, and generations of associates who have put their pride and passion into every motorcycle we make. Following Mr. Kobayashi’s message, other Honda leaders also shared their reflections on the company’s remarkable achievement and its vision for the future.

Mr. Minoru Kato, Executive Managing Officer of Honda Motor Co. Ltd., expressed his confidence on Honda Philippines, Inc. growing role as one of the key production bases within Honda’s global motorcycle network and its continued growth amid evolving customer expectations.
