SDG HARC-PRO Honda Philippines Inc. Racing Team and Carlsen Solis Show Strong Progress in ARRC Round 4 at Mandalika

Mandalika, Indonesia – August 8–9, 2026 — Filipino rider Carlsen Solis and the SDG HARC-PRO Honda Philippines Inc. Racing Team faced another demanding weekend of international competition as the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) Round 4 took place at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia.

Competing in the highly competitive Asia Production 250 (AP250) category, Solis continued to build valuable experience aboard the Honda CBR250RR while battling against some of the region’s strongest riders.

Steady Progress Throughout Practice

The weekend began with three practice sessions as Solis worked to find the ideal setup and improve his pace around the Mandalika circuit.

In Practice 1, Solis recorded his best lap of 1:52.049, placing 31st. He improved his pace in Practice 2, setting a 1:51.194 lap to finish 29th.

The biggest improvement came in Practice 3, where Solis lowered his best time significantly to 1:49.508, despite finishing 31st in the session.

The continued improvement in lap time provided positive momentum heading into qualifying.

Qualifying Sets the Grid

During qualifying, Solis once again improved his outright pace, recording his best lap of 1:48.686 to secure 29th position on the starting grid.

With two races ahead, the Filipino rider and the SDG HARC-PRO Honda Philippines Racing Team remained focused on translating the improved qualifying pace into stronger race performances.

Determined Performance in Race 1

Race 1 presented another tough challenge for Solis as he battled through a competitive AP250 field.

Starting from 29th, Solis maintained his focus throughout the race and crossed the finish line in 23rd position, gaining six places from his qualifying starting position.

He recorded his best lap of 1:48.899, demonstrating that his pace remained competitive and consistent during race conditions.

Stronger Finish in Race 2

Solis returned to the grid for Race 2 with renewed determination. Continuing to fight for every position, he produced his strongest finishing result of the weekend.

The Honda rider moved forward to 17th position, gaining another six places from his starting position. He also posted his best lap of 1:49.113.

The Race 2 result capped a weekend of continued development for Solis, with his race performances showing his ability to make progress and adapt throughout the event.

Looking Ahead

Although the Mandalika weekend presented a challenging environment, Solis and the SDG HARC-PRO Honda Philippines Racing Team continued to gain valuable experience in the highly competitive AP250 category.

From a best practice lap of 1:52.049 in Practice 1 to a 1:48.686 qualifying lap, Solis demonstrated clear improvements in outright pace throughout the weekend. His two race finishes—23rd in Race 1 and 17th in Race 2—also highlighted his determination to fight forward in the field.

With another ARRC round ahead, Solis and the team will look to build on the lessons and experience gained at Mandalika as they continue their campaign on the international racing stage.
