Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia | July 11–12, 2026 – The FCC - Honda Philippines Inc. Racing Team celebrated a perfect weekend at the Malaysian Superbike Championship (MSBK) Round 2, as the Filipino rider Carlsen Solis delivered a commanding performance in the MSBK250B category, topping every official session and claiming a remarkable double victory at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.

Solis immediately established his pace during Friday's practice sessions, finishing fastest in Free Practice 1 with a lap time of 2:31.644 before lowering the benchmark to 2:30.665 in Free Practice 2. His consistent speed carried into qualifying, where he clocked an impressive 2:28.930 to secure pole position and the best possible starting spot for the weekend's races.

Saturday's Race 1 presented a completely different challenge as wet conditions transformed the Sepang circuit into a demanding test of precision and control. Despite the slippery track, Solis showcased exceptional confidence and composure aboard his Honda CBR250RR-R machine, making all the right decisions in difficult conditions to take a commanding victory. His performance in the rain highlighted not only his speed but also his adaptability and racecraft under pressure. He also recorded the race's fastest lap with a time of 2:44.022.

With the weather improving for Race 2, Solis once again demonstrated why he had been the rider to beat all weekend. Launching cleanly from pole position, he controlled the race from the front and maintained a strong pace throughout to secure his second victory of the weekend. He capped off another dominant ride by setting the fastest lap of the race at 2:30.156, completing a flawless campaign in Malaysia.

By taking the lead starting in Free Practice 1, Free Practice 2, Qualifying, Race 1, and Race 2, Solis completed a perfect sweep of every official session in the MSBK250B class. The result reflects both the rider's outstanding form and the competitiveness of the FCC - Honda Philippines Inc. Racing Team, whose preparation and performance proved unmatched throughout the event.
The double victory marks another important milestone for Honda Philippines' international racing program, reinforcing its commitment to developing Filipino talent capable of excelling on the regional stage.
