Carlsen Solis with SDG HARC-PRO Honda Philippines Racing Team Faces Challenging Weekend at ARRC Round 3 in Japan

Motegi, Japan – June 13-14,2026: Filipino rider Carlsen Solis and the SDG HARC-PRO Honda Philippines RacingTeam faced another valuable weekend of competition at Round 3 of the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) held at the iconic Mobility Resort Motegi on June 13-14, 2026.

The weekend began under challenging conditions as rain affected the practice sessions, requiring riders to adapt quickly to the slippery track surface. Despite the difficult weather, Solis continued to gain experience and confidence aboard his Honda CBR250RR in the highly competitive AP250 class.

During qualifying, Solis secured 27th position on the starting grid with his best lap time of 2:10.577, setting the stage for two demanding races against some of Asia's top quarter-liter riders.

Race day brought significantly improved weather conditions, allowing competitors to push harder on the dry track. In Race 1, Solis delivered a determined performance, finishing in 19th place while posting his fastest lap of the weekend at 2:10.411. The result highlighted his ability to improve pace and consistency as the race progressed.

The young Filipino rider returned to the grid for Race 2, continuing his development in the championship. Solis crossed the finish line in 23rd position, recording his best lap time of 2:10.582 while gaining further valuable race experience against a highly competitive field.

Although the results did not place him inside the points, the Motegi round provided another important step in Solis' progression within the Asia Road Racing Championship AP250 Category. Competing at one of Japan's most demanding circuits under mixed weather conditions offered valuable lessons that will contribute to his growth as he continues to represent the Philippines on the international stage.

With three rounds completed, Solis and the SDG HARC-PRO Honda Philippines Racing Team remain focused on building momentum, refining race pace, and continuing their development throughout the remainder of the 2026 ARRC season.
