Alfonsi Daquigan Takes on Another Competitive Moto4 European Cup Round 6 at Aragón

MotorLand Aragón, Spain — September 27, 2026 — Filipino rider Alfonsi Daquigan took on another challenging weekend in the FIM MotoJunior World Championship – Moto4 European Cup, representing the Honda Asia Dream Racing Junior Team at MotorLand Aragón.

Daquigan showed competitive pace from the opening sessions, finishing sixth in FP1 with a lap time of 2:03.441. He continued to build his rhythm in FP2, recording a 2:03.294 to place seventh, putting him within close range of the leading riders.

The Filipino rider delivered a strong performance in the first qualifying session. Competing in Qualifying 1 – Group B, Daquigan posted a 2:02.618, placing second in his group and demonstrating his potential over a single flying lap.

In Qualifying 2 – Group B, Daquigan finished 11th with a lap time of 2:03.365. Combining the qualifying results placed him 21st on the starting grid for the race.

Starting from the seventh row, Daquigan faced a demanding race as he worked to make progress through the competitive Moto4 field. He ultimately finished 26th, recording his fastest race lap of 2:02.970.

Despite the race result, the Aragón weekend provided Daquigan and the Honda Asia Dream Racing Junior Team with valuable experience and further opportunities to develop race pace and consistency at the international level.

With the season now heading toward its final round, Daquigan will look to build on the experience gained at MotorLand Aragón and target a stronger position in the season finale. The Filipino rider and the Honda Asia Dream Racing Junior Team will aim to finish the campaign on a positive note with an improved result in the final round.
