Best 3S Dealer for 2007

Star Honda started with humble beginnings with the opening of its 1st 3S branch at Calamba City, Laguna on June 19, 2002.

From the very start, Star Honda was guided by the time tested and surefire strategy of Total Customer Care forming a fitting match with Honda Philippines Inc.’s 3S concept offering full and complete motorcycle services to customers.

In order to make this strategy of Total Customer Care work for the benefit of the customers, Star Honda has invested heavily on technology with computerized frontline and backroom operations.  This has afforded Star Honda with the advantage of real-time access to customer information, inventory tracking, service monitoring, and a host of various data relevant in provided customers with speedy, quality and efficient services.

Already a pioneer in terms of opening air-conditioned shops, Star Honda went out of its way to introduce various innovations with customer comfort and convenience in mind i.e. customer lounges, discreet customer transaction rooms especially when discussing customer financials, motorcycle wash areas and other conveniences.

Its innovative spirit resulted in its first award as Honda’s Best New 3S Shop in 2003. This served as spark of a Star Honda tradition of customer and excellence.
In the latter part of 2002, Star Honda opened its 2nd branch in San Pablo City, Laguna. In 2003, 3 Star Honda 3S shops were inaugurated in Lipa City, Batangas, in Binan, Laguna and in Calapan, Mindoro.  This aggressive expansion program resulted in phenomenal growth not only in terms of motorcycles sold but more importantly in terms of satisfied customers.

In 2004, two more branches were set-up in Lucena City, Quezon and Imus, Cavite.  This was followed by a 3S branch in Pinamalyan, Mindoro in 2005. In 2005, Star Honda in Calamba City decided to transfer to a new location in order to set-up the biggest Honda 3S shop in the region with a total of 360 sq. meters of customer care spaces. Just recently, Star Honda opened its newest, most daring branch in terms of design in Molino, Cavite in 2006.  This has brought current Star Honda 3S shops to 9 branches with more new Star Honda 3S branches in the pipeline.

With its growth, comes a continuing infusion of new blood with young, dynamic personnel mirroring the best qualities of the target markets with a very strong sense of customer care.  In its quest to be the BEST, Star Honda mechanics participated in and performed well in the 2006 Honda Skills Olympics with one of its own declared a Philippine Champion.

The thing that makes Star Honda stand-out is its obsession for innovation.  In September, 2005, Star Honda launched its Star Honda VIP Club in an effort to provide customers with better value as well as serve as venue for long-term relationship building with its customers.  Moving into its 2nd year, the Star Honda VIP Club now boasts of 10,000 members enjoying various benefits including exclusive discounts, freebies, events and other benefit.  More importantly, the Star Honda VIP Club has translated into an army of endorsers spreading via word-of-mouth the benefits of being a Star Honda customer.

For 2 years, Star Honda through its Star Honda VIP Club has already organized two major motorcycle jamborees dubbed as “MOTORKAMP” –  a 2-day affair wherein participants were taught new skills and new ways of enjoying the motorcycles via lectures and games while celebrating the advantages of their motorcycle lifestyle. This 1st Motorkamp was held at Mt. Makiling, Los Banos, Laguna and the 2nd Motorkamp at Caliraya, Cavinti, Laguna with both events participated by hundreds of riders.

Earlier this year, Star Honda has launched it Mobile Advocacy and Expansion component with a MAX van and a Mobile Service Van in an effort to bring Star Honda services closer to where the customers are. This has helped established Star Honda presence in factories, industrial parks, subdivision and even far-flung towns – a service very much appreciated by its thousands of customers.

In recognition of its commitment to Total Customer Care, Star Honda was awarded the coveted Honda Philippines’ 2007 Best 3S Dealer.  The Star Honda Calamba City branch was also awarded as Honda Philippines’ 2007 Best 3S Shop.
