2009 Dealers’ Convention and Awards Night

HPI’s Annual Dealers’ Convention was recently held at the EDSA Shangri-La, Hotel on June 18-20,2009

The activity started with a Business Meeting in the morning where HPI’s Directions for FY 2009-2010 were laid down to its valued dealers. Highlight of the afternoon session was an inspirational talk on managing and leadership by a motivational speaker, Mr. Francis Kong who is also a regular columnist in the Business page of the Philippine Star.

Capping the event was the most awaited Awards Night which was made more special with the Red Carpet walk and the photo wall where guests (in their glamorous gowns and coat & tie) photos were taken and later given as souvenirs.

Host for the evening was the very popular debonair, Mr. Edu Manzano. Guest celebrities, Jose Marie Chan, Sitti Navarro and RJ and his Band provided the evening entertainment. But it was HPI's President and General Manager, Mr. Katsuhisa Yoda who brought the house down by joining with RJ on his electric guitar. He vowed the audience with 3 lively pieces on his guitar.

The awarding ceremonies will not be complete without the acceptance speech of the No.1 Dealer for FY2008-2009, Motortrade delivered by its Chairman, Mr. Vicente Ongtenco. After which, the top 10 Dealers were serenaded by guests performers, Mr. Jose Marie Chan and Ms. Sitti Navarro. PR Department
