Motorcycles

Today, Honda remains the brand of choice of motorcycle enthusiasts in the country with more than 50% market share. Its four-stroke engine technology ensures the highest fuel efficiency while emission levels surpass government standards on motor vehicle emission. It is also the first manufacturer to locally introduce the Automatic Headlight On feature that provides additional safety to riders as a result of increased visibility on the road even during daytime.

While we at Honda continue to conduct research, develop and introduce fuel-efficient and environment-friendly motorcycles, we also endeavor to provide our customers increased benefits by adding value at all stages of our processes, that is, from research and development, production, distribution, sales and after-sales services.

Power Products

Honda was one of the first to introduce environmentally-friendly design concepts into all stages of its product life cycles -- research and development, production, distribution, sales, servicing, and disposal. These concepts were intended to reduce the environmental load.

Today, Honda is in the process of further enhancing its clean, fuel-efficient, four-stroke engines. These engines are designed to facilitate the development of power products that people rely on for work or for play. Thus, high-efficiency production activities are executed without harming the environment.

Spare Parts Group

Part of the After-Sales Group, the Spare Parts Department plays a vital role in achieving total customer satisfaction. Spare parts operation deals with parts sales, inventory control, warehousing and distribution. Currently, it occupies about 4,300 sqm. of warehouse space for its operation in the new plant site which is being manned and operated by a 22-strong work force divided into 3 sub-groups.

The inventory control group has the responsibility of monitoring and maintaining the physical inventory of the department. Warehouse and distribution group is responsible for receiving, handling, storing, issuing and dispatching parts for deliveries to our dealers. The sales and marketing group markets and promotes the items that we carry. Actual service starts once a unit is sold. This means that succeeding unit sales will also depend greatly on After-Sales performance (Spare Parts and Service).

Presently, Honda Genuine Parts are being marketed nationwide through 3S and Parts dealers. 3S dealers are exclusive distributors of Honda units, spare parts and service, while Parts dealers sell spare parts only.

Honda Service

The Service Department is committed to provide Total Quality Service to its customers. Its assertive campaign begins with the enhanced training program for Honda dealerships, from the mechanics to the Dealer Management Team. In addition, Honda has teamed up with Technical Schools such as Don Bosco, Makati, Alabang and TESDA, a government agency, to host an outreach program aimed at helping out-of-school youth by building exclusive training centers for Honda motorcycles. With these centers, not only has Honda anticipated extending its support to its dealers in the future by developing skilled mechanics, it has also given a helping hand to the less fortunate by providing free education. The Service Department has also begun the full implementation of the Warranty Payment System at all of its 3S dealerships nationwide and is now gearing toward the full implementation of the same system with Honda's multi-brand dealers. Lastly, the development of the New Service Center named Honda Service Accredited Network (Honda SAN) is expected to improve service coverage throughout the country.

With all these programs and even more lined up, the Service Department still does not rest in its endeavor to serve its customers better. Providing Total Quality Service to all its customers is quite a challenge. Nevertheless, the Service Team will go beyond the limits of its capabilities if only to ensure that it delivers the best service possible to its customers. That is the essence of the Service Department. That is Total Quality Customer Service!

Motorcycle Recreation

At Honda, other than provide our customers with world-class products and service, one of our dreams is to create a motorcycle culture in the Philippines. In our efforts to do so, we have been holding events and seminars that not only build camaraderie amongst Honda motorcycle users and owners, but also encourage potential buyers to finally make the leap into motorcycle ownership. Beyond increasing our market share and building strong product awareness, we are nurturing a country of educated, exemplary and involved Filipino motorcycle riders.
